The Legacy of Maui Mana Moringa Seed
The soil — born from the ancient lava flows that formed Maui's Central Valley — nourishes our forest of 11,000 moringa trees. Every seed breathes with the life-force (mana) of the islands.
Fed by the waters of the West Maui Mountains (Mauna) and stewarded by its fomer owner, 99-year-old Victor Manzano, these 11,000 trees and their seeds are a testament to his 70 years of growing this superfood of all superfoods.
When you plant these seeds, you aren't just growing a tree. You are continuing a legacy.
The Farmer
Victor Manzano — A 70-Year Legacy
At 99, Victor still walks the rows of the forest he planted with his family (o'hana). He has tended these trees for seven decades from the Philipines to Maui. For the last 4 years, he has been tending to the moringa trees in the valley between Haleakalā and Mauna Kahālāwai — where ancient lava soil and West Maui Watershed waters give moringa life unlike anywhere else in the world.
